This set celebrates one of the most prolific and technically dazzling conductors of all time. Between 1972 and 1982, Lorin Maazel was Music Director of The Cleveland Orchestra and his complete Decca recordings from this time are collected here. They include Decca's first recording in Cleveland, Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet and the first complete stereo recording of Gershwin's Porgy and Bess.
